All our prints are made to order, so before you buy, take a quick look at our return and refund policy below. It covers what we can and can't help with.
1. No Returns for Standard 3D Printing Characteristics
3D printing is a unique process that builds parts layer-by-layer. By purchasing from DaneB3D, you acknowledge that items will have unique textures and markings.
We do not offer returns, refunds, or replacements for the following natural characteristics, which are not considered defects:
- Layer Lines: Visible horizontal lines inherent to the printing process.
- Surface Artifacts: Minor "zits," "blobs," or tiny bumps on the surface.
- Support Marks: Small pockmarks or scars where structural supports were removed.
- Stringing: Minor wisps of plastic inherent to certain geometries.
- Color Variance: Slight tonal differences between filament batches.
2. Custom & Made-to-Order Items
Final Sale:
All custom prints (based on customer-provided files or specific color/scale requests) are Final Sale once production has begun.
Design Flaws:
DaneB3D is not responsible for prints that fail or are unsatisfactory due to design errors or structural weaknesses in a 3D model file provided by the customer.
3. Eligibility for Replacement or Refund
We only offer remedies (at our discretion) if the item is functionally defective or incorrectly fulfilled: We do not accept returns due to broken prints caused by user error. Returns are only accepted if the print arrived broken/damaged. Customers must provide ample proof (such as photos or video) showing the item was damaged upon arrival.
- Structural Failure: The item arrived broken or structurally unsound due to poor layer adhesion.
- Fulfillment Error: We sent the wrong model, the wrong material, or the wrong scale.
- Notification Window: You must contact us within 5 days of delivery with clear photos of the issue to be considered for a replacement.
4. Shipping & Cancellations
Cancellations:
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund only before the printing process has started.
Return Shipping:
If a return is authorized for a non-defective standard item, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and a 15% restocking fee.
As described in our Privacy Policy, we collect personal information from your interactions with us and our website, including through cookies and similar technologies. We may also share this personal information with third parties, including advertising partners. We do this in order to show you ads on other websites that are more relevant to your interests and for other reasons outlined in our privacy policy.
